Welcome to Greenwoods Community Church!

Greenwoods is an independent, non-denominational church located in Ashley Falls, MA
(less than a mile from the CT border!).

We are a loving and welcoming gathering of people who follow Jesus Christ.

Whether you’ve attended church or not, you are welcome here.

Come ask questions, come for prayer, come to worship our Lord and King.

The sermons are deep and rich with Biblical Truth, and also relevant, understandable, and applicable to our daily lives.

We serve a meal after our weekly services – a chance to get to know you, and for you to get to know us.  Childcare is provided, we have a wonderful children’s ministry, and services generally run about an hour and fifteen minutes.

So come as you are, thank you for visiting us!  May God richly bless you!

Our Purpose

Our purpose is…
            • to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
            • to connect them with other Christians
            • to help them to grow in faith
            • to challenge them to discover and live out their ministry, and
            • to help them to honor God with their lives

Our Vision

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

We aspire to be a church that attracts the unchurched by the way we worship and the way we live; that helps all who attend to see themselves as engaged in whole-life ministry in their homes, workplaces and communities; and that makes Christ-followers who are bold in speaking and living the grace and truth of the gospel wherever the Lord may place them.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Billy Graham

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.

C. S. Lewis

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
